Where Restoration Begins

The Restoration Assessment
Maybe you're burned out. Maybe you're living in survival mode. Maybe you're overwhelmed, doomscrolling, self-sabotaging, constantly putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own — or simply wondering why you can't seem to follow through anymore.
Maybe you know exactly what needs to change. Maybe you have no idea where to begin.
This assessment is designed to help you understand what's keeping you stuck, where your life may be asking for restoration, and the smallest place to begin.
About 7–10 minutes · Personalised Restoration Profile · No judgement. No all-or-nothing plan.
We have more information about health, productivity, relationships, spirituality, habits and self-improvement than any generation before us. Knowing more hasn't made doing it easier.
Most of us know we should sleep more, move our bodies, eat better, put down our phones, spend time with people we love, set boundaries, pray or reflect, get outside, rest, sort the finances, or finally begin the thing we've been putting off.
And still — we don't.
Sometimes the issue is discipline.
But sometimes we're depleted. Sometimes we're overwhelmed. Sometimes we're using scrolling, food, alcohol, television, shopping, work or gaming to check out.
Sometimes we're stuck in all-or-nothing thinking. Sometimes we've lost contact with what actually restores us. Sometimes we've been carrying too much for too long.
And sometimes we simply need help breaking change into something small enough to actually do.
Restoration isn't doing nothing.
It's rebuilding your capacity to choose.
The Loop
The goal of naming this is not shame. It's noticing when automatic behaviours are repeatedly taking us away from what we actually value — and gradually rebuilding the ability to make a different choice.
The Restoration Gap

You don't need to change everything.
You need to know what to change first.
What the assessment looks at
Around 35 short questions, one at a time. Your answers build a profile across the dimensions that most often sit between intention and action.
It's an educational coaching tool, not a diagnosis. It won't tell you that you have a condition, and it won't tell you to fix your whole life.
Sometimes change needs space
Sometimes we can begin changing inside our normal environment. Sometimes the environment itself keeps pulling us back into the same routines, responsibilities, distractions and expectations.
Free Holler Farm creates intentional space to interrupt that — in Central Virginia, with room to breathe, unplug and return.

Where this can go
Your profile ends with a recommendation about the kind of environment that may suit you. It's about fit, never severity.
